I will be in charge of the Japanese tea seminar at the Japanese Tea Collection 2024.

I will be in charge of the Japanese tea seminar at the Japan Tea Collection 2024, to be held on September 28th and 29th at Tokuyu Kaikan in Shinjuku! The venue will feature Japanese tea tasting sessions and fascinating lectures on Japanese culture. In addition, select tea shops from all over the country will participate. NACHARAL also plans to introduce our products at our booth for both days.

Recently, I had the opportunity to hear directly from Mr. Sendo Tanaka of the Dai Nihon Chado Gakkai (Great Japan Tea Ceremony Association), which is hosting the event. He is extremely knowledgeable, and I was able to understand the outline of Okakura Kakuzo's "The Book of Tea," which I couldn't grasp even after reading several books. I'm excited about what kimono I'll wear, as the dress code for instructors at the Japan Tea Collection is kimono.

Date and Time

I will be teaching two types of courses: Seminar B "Tea for Well-being! Beauty Ingredients and Uses of Japanese Tea" and Seminar C "How to Brew Japanese Tea to Extract Beauty Ingredients." Seminar B will be mainly lecture-based, and Seminar C will be mainly practical brewing exercises.
