Adopted for "Koge no Yado Izumigaya" bus amenities

Our products have been adopted as bath amenities at "Kogei no Yado Izumigaya" (Location: 3240-1 Mariko, Suruga-ku, Shizuoka City), which had its soft opening in June 2023. The bath additive provided is formulated with highly fragrant cypress from Okushizu in the mountainous area of Shizuoka City and "Arashio" manufactured by Arashio Co., Ltd. (Suruga-ku, Shizuoka City).

Shizuoka's traditional crafts developed from the time when Ieyasu gathered artisans in Sunpu. At Sunpu no Takumi-yado, visitors can admire craftworks showcasing the artisans' skills throughout the building and experience woodworking. The recently opened "Kogei no Yado Izumigaya" is a renovated traditional house over a hundred years old. Each guest room features furnishings crafted by artisans, such as transoms made with Suruga bamboo ware, fusuma (sliding doors) dyed with tea stains, and ceramic washbasins. Additionally, private saunas and cypress baths are available.

Based on the concept of "Kogei no Yado Izumigaya," we planned a bath additive using Okushizu cypress and "Arashio" made in Shizuoka. The manufacturing is carried out by a social welfare corporation in Shizuoka Prefecture that holds a cosmetic manufacturing license.

We hope that through this bath additive, guests will have an opportunity to contemplate the artisans' skills, the rich nature of Okushizu, and SDGs.
